Clinics & Services

We provide the following special services which are bookable at receptionbaby_mum

MMR - we can provide free MMR vaccination to any patient who is not already fully vaccinated, this is particularly applicable to children, teenagers and young adults.

Blood tests - appointments available in the morning either with the practice nurse or visiting phlebotomist.

Baby clinic - for baby's vaccinations appointments can be made from 09:30 every Wednesday morning. 

 

Maternity Clinics  - post natal examination of mother and baby is carried out by your GP six weeks after delivery.

 

Smoking cessation - please ask at reception for further details and the contact number of the Community Smoking Cessation Clinics.

  

asthma_inhaler4Diabetic Clinic - for advice and review - usually on a Friday afternoon, but other slots available upon request.

 

Heart disease & hypertension clinic - including identification of risk factors in heart disease and cholesterol measurement if appropriate.

 

Asthma clinic - including check of correct use of Inhaler and peak flow measurement.

 

Ear Irrigation - 20 minute appointment with the practice nurse only

Cervical screening

Dressings and Wound Care - with Practice Nurse

ECG - with Practice Nurse, patients would have seen their Doctor first.

24hr Blood Pressure Monitoring - patients would have seen their Doctor first and then see the Practice Nurse for fitting of the same, to return the following day and have the monitor removed.

Cryosurgery - this Clinic is held on the last Thursday morning of each month. Patients can be referred her via their own Doctor for cryosurgery.
